Happy 56th Birthday to Oakland Boy Tom Hanks

Oakland has produced giants in many fields, but Oakland has provided the film industry with two particularly special gifts, Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks. Today happens to be Tom’s 56th birthday so we’re celebrating him with a couple videos highlighting his Oakland roots. We’ll explore his dramatic years at Skyline High School, his Oakland dance moves, and a couple of his Oscar speeches lest we forget the greatness he’s achieved as an actor and director.
