Music Video: Daveed Diggs & Rafael Casal: “Small Things to a Giant”

“Small Things to a Giant” is a common refrain in the Bay Area. It’s a way for us to dismiss the obstacles or people facing us– the verbal equivalent of brushing off our shoulders. It’s also the name of Daveed Diggs‘ first solo album and title track. In the music video for “Small Things to a Giant,” Diggs employs the assistance of Getback Crew mate Rafael Casal for a caper that is at once childlike and criminal. We won’t spoil the ending, but we recommend checking it out for yourself.

Don’t miss the brilliant wordplay and voracious flows either. The Getback Crew are at the forefront of the Bay’s new generation of educated slick-talkers.
