Video: Driver Ken Block Tears Up The Streets of San Francisco

If you’re anything like me and approximately 10 million others worldwide, you’ve been mesmerized by Ken Block destroying the streets of San Francisco in a Ford Fiesta. And yes, you read that right, a Ford Fiesta. In just two days this video has amassed millions of hits for  a few reasons.

  1. It’s a dream for many of us to be an amazing driver. That’s why so many video games are dedicated to it. I wasn’t even allowed to have a game system when I was little, but we had a game called Driver in which you were a get away driver in San Francisco. I was doing the things Ken Block did, only you know, not in real life.
  2. How the hell did they shut down the Bay Bridge and the whole city like that!?? Who had that kind of pull? What daylight hours could this have been executed? Or if you’re my mom, your response was, “this can’t be real.”  I do have to admit that I’ve never seen SF streets this empty and I also can’t imagine this being the result of special effects trickery.
  3. And lastly, damn this muhfucka can drive!!! I have so much respect for the amount of bars Ken Block has. Did you witness some of those turns? The figure eights around trollies? The big air off the tops of SF hills? Crazy! We should invite blood to an East Oakland sideshow. He’d own everybody in epic fashion. Unfortunately he may then get his hood stomped out.

So without further ado, I present to you Ken Block making the streets of SF his bitch.
