This line on the “Intro” to Nerd’s Eye 2 sums up Erk Tha Jerk’s music pretty succinctly. The most consistent artist coming out of the Bay of late, Erk has managed to drop 2 projects in a row that have not only caught the ears of locals, but also national blogs. Erk’s ability to blend unadulterated honesty with a nonchalant swagger is a gift that has made his music both cool and engaging.

Mixing braggadocio, with rhymes about his family, and broken relationships with friends, Erk is able to appeal to any Hip-Hop audience.
