Ever since I got WORDUP’s mixtape about a year ago, it has popped up in my iTunes on occasion, and I’m always impressed by his content and the way he embodies Oakland. I am looking forward to big things from him as he mixes his East Oakland upbringing with a Hiero-inspired style and wisdom beyond his years.
