A little less than a year ago Siaira Shawn took to Youtube and started posting videos of herself singing. It was just her and the laptop as she put a personal stamp on some of her favorite tracks and joints that folks requested. She crafted a sort of Youtube mixtape and viewers were definitely feeling it, especially her take on Lupe Fiasco’s “Beamin.”
Recently, Siaira performed “I’m Fiendin” live at Monday Soul, a weekly music event that features local artists, businesses, and non-profits at The New Parish. BLK PXL FILMS was there to capture the show and created the video you see above. Enjoy.
