F.N.M’s single “Work” isn’t about how they are in the studio non-stop trying to keep your iTunes loaded, though given their track record a song like that is very reasonable. There’s Willie Joe who recently dropped his album FOCUS. You also have Nio Tha Gift whose Super Hero EP dropped in October. And then there’s Erk Tha Jerk, the man behind Nerd’s Eye View which hits stores next week.
Produced by Traxamillion, “Work” is club music. It’s the kind of song that encourages getting low, backing it up, and whatever else you can think of before last call. It’s boastful. It’s energetic. And it does a good job of creating a cohesive song by three MCs with different styles while seeming authentic for all parties involved. Press play, peep some of your local faves make an appearance, and rock a little. Oh, and don’t forget to catch F.N.M. performing at our homie The Thizzler’s show at The Shattuck Downlow November 12th.
