Though the shadows of E-40 and Mac Dre loom large, there’s a crop of young Vallejo emcees chomping at the bit to steal back the spotlight. Willie Joe is one of those cats, and as the Brian Storm directed video for “It’s Ova” demonstrates, he has the hustlin attitude to help push that movement. The FNM member has witnessed the recent assent of his brethren Erk Tha Jerk and Nio Tha Gift, while producer Traxamillion has had the local scene on smash for a while now, so it’s definitely Willie’s turn to up the ante.

“It’s Ova” is a personalized go-getter’s anthem, but regardless of what your individual story is, or what line of work you’re in, that mentality is  something we all need in order to thrive in our respective fields.  Do work.
