A couple weeks ago, R.O.D, Vell4Short, Tony Vic and I stepped out of the infamous #Hangover party in Deep East Oakland to get our flip cam on. In a 38thNotes’ exclusive interview, ROD discusses the recent success of his smash hit “I Can’t Stand You,” his new album, early inspirations and the Bay Area’s burgeoning R&Bay; scene.

Although ROD is new to the airwaves, his assent was not over night. So make sure that all you jay cats with a myspace and a dream, honor the process of putting in work and cultivating success.
